We Install

A 100% solids epoxy base, a full broadcast of vinyl flakes and a clear topcoat. The flakes hide dust and give tires and shoes grip.

A UV-stable topcoat that will not yellow at the door opening. It stands up to road salt and hot tires better than epoxy.

Base, flake and topcoat in one day. Walk on it in 4 to 6 hours and park on it in 24.

One clean color at a lower cost. Standard epoxy runs $4 to $7 per square foot.

A marbled, high-gloss finish for show garages and shops. Metallic runs $8 to $15 per square foot.

We fill cracks and spalls before the base coat. A coating lasts only as long as the slab under it.
A solid color system on a sound slab.
Where most full-flake garage floors land.
Costs more. Cures faster. Handles salt and hot tires better.
Most use water-based epoxy over an acid-etched slab. That thin film peels under hot tires and salt.

Polyaspartic takes foot traffic in 4 to 6 hours and cars in 24 hours. Epoxy needs 24 to 72 hours for foot traffic and up to 7 days for cars. Cold slows every cure. Most epoxies go down best above 50°F, and cure time doubles for every 18°F drop below 70°F. That is why we use polyaspartic systems for fall and winter installs.
Road salt and slush. Rochester gets about 53 inches of snow a year. Every car drags salt brine onto bare concrete, and it eats the surface one winter at a time. A sealed coating keeps it on top, where you hose it off.
Hot tire pickup. Hot tires lift cheap epoxy right off the slab. Polyaspartic carries a higher heat tolerance and resists it.
Oil, gas and moisture. Epoxy and polyaspartic both resist oil and gasoline. We test slab moisture with ASTM F1869 or F2170 before we coat, so the coating bonds to the concrete.
